The role holder is responsible for assisting in designing and implementation of the operational and technology risk management framework and strategy for company aligned to the bank’s overall risk policy framework with the aim to identify, quantify and effectively manage the operational and technology risk profile of the departments. The role holder is also responsible for guiding and advising the departments in managing their risk appetite as well as leading scenario analysis and advising them with the aim to protect the bank by reducing operational and technology risks.

  • Share and promote risk management best practices and consistency in approaches across bank 
  • Monitor technology control effectiveness (both design and operational effectiveness) to design and produce technology risk report
  • Provide risk and control management support, advice and guidance for to application and control owners on organizations policy and minimum standards.
  • Support Head of Operations Risk in driving new and existing projects and doing research in emerging and strategic risk trends
  • Review and analyze ad-hoc reports including IT system incident report, cyber security incidents report and IT Risk Metrics Monitoring Report
  • Work with other Functions and departments for risk-related inquiries and consultation and effectively influence others
  • Understand CBM &MMCB requirements or any other related regulatory on different products to give comments or advices whether the products fit for regulatory environment

  • Assess the possible risks and deficiencies of the internal system when initiating new products and contribute in New Product Program (NPP) 
  • Facilitate NPP or PEP Approval process and ensure to go through proposals, evaluation report and readiness checklist with stakeholders
  • Provide secretarial support in NPP or PEP, maintain Product inventory and follow-up with Product review and assessments 
  • Understand Bank financial products, branch processes and work with different departments to assist new product or product line or introduction of new delivery channel 
  • Communicate with Regional or department-related Operational Risk Coordinators and create awareness about risk culture across organization
  • Collect fraud/error incidents and loss data from branches and Business Units, analyze root causes of fraud/error incidents and support to mitigate risk and create documentation
  • Create report on ORM tools such as Key Operational Risk Indicator (KORI), Loss Data Collection (LDC) and Risk and Control Assessment (RCA), identify and evaluate risk areas across the operational activities 
  • Develop and maintain Disaster Recovery Plan, Business Continuity Plan and Business Impact Analysis.
  • Support the bank’s strategies and initiatives to provide an effective and engaging digital customer onboarding experience, expand the agent and merchant networks, and drive the usage of mobile and digital applications

  • Bachelor Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information System Management, Economics or Business
  • Preferably has worked in Banking and Finance, IT Audit or Project Management
