Summary
Plan, implement, oversee, and maintain server and network infrastructures, ensuring security standards are met.
- Design, install, and configure servers, network devices, firewalls, and printers.
- Implement and maintain network security standards.
- Manage and maintain servers, networks, routers, and firewalls.
- Administer core Microsoft, Cisco, Prisma, Citrix, and VMware technologies.
- Develop and execute project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
- Design monitoring, configuration management, and reporting systems.
- Define best practices and support procedures for network and infrastructure.
- Provide after-hours support for emergencies and weekend maintenance.
- Maintain IT inventory, asset configuration documentation, and checklists.
- Assist with hardware, firewall, telecom, and software vendor evaluations and negotiations.
- Manage software licenses and computer setups for new users.
- Set up IT infrastructure for new branch openings.
- Conduct branch maintenance and resolve hardware and infrastructure issues.
- Implement IT security standards (encryption, SSL, ACL, authentication).
- Mentor and train team members on network and infrastructure technologies.
- Handle special projects as directed by management.
- Interact with customers and staff on technical issues.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field (preferred).
- 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or equivalent (preferred).
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Server and desktop operating systems.
- Experience managing large server infrastructures and virtualization technologies.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN networking and TCP/IP switched networks.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Professional (CCNP) preferred.
- Experience with Active Directory, LDAP, MS Office 365, and Exchange.
- Ability to troubleshoot network and infrastructure issues.
- Strong communication, documentation, and project management skills.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
- Flexible, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
