Responsibility
Summary
Supports branch financial operations by managing loan disbursements, ensuring accurate documentation, overseeing teller functions, and maintaining compliance with financial protocols. This role involves working closely with the Branch Manager to monitor financial performance, manage assets, and achieve branch profitability.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Branch Manager to track branch financials, manage costs, and achieve profitability.
- Safeguard branch assets and report any misuse.
- Review and process loan files and ensure accurate data entry in the Management Information System (MIS).
- Oversee loan and savings disbursements, create accounts, and issue savings passbooks.
- Maintain accurate daily transaction records, loan files, and other branch documents.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies, ensuring up-to-date filing and compliance.
- Supervise teller operations to ensure secure and accurate cash handling.
- Oversee cash deposits, disbursements, and timely bank deposits.
- Ensure data accuracy in system updates and prepare daily/monthly reports for Head Office.
- Conduct regular system checks for accuracy and update customer information.
Requirement
- University graduate with LCCI Level III (UK certification preferred).
- Age under 35; local candidates preferred.
- At least 1 year of finance experience in microfinance or 2 years in general finance/accounting.
- Proficiency in finance software and Microsoft Office, with strong knowledge in finance and accounting.
