Responsibility

Summary
To Lead and manage all non-academic functions in the school: Marketing and Communication, Finance, Human Resources & Administration, Information, Communication Technology and Operations. To oversee all staff, budgets and operations of the functional departments. Responsibilities include formulating overall strategy, managing people and establishing policies.

Responsibilities

1. Finance and Accounting Management
- In collaboration with the Heads of School, drive to meet targets in terms of enrolment numbers, headcounts, costs and profit etc.
- Manage cost, drive profitability and improve efficiency, accountability, control and visibility of the finance processes
- Responsible for all finance and accounting processes, lead and manage all statutory and reporting requirements, budgeting and forecasting, cash flow management and taxation for all Schools and legal entities in Myanmar
- In collaboration with the Heads of School, lead the preparation of a yearly budget supported by a business plan including need for capital expenditure
- Regularly monitor the financial forecast and set correctives measures to mitigate and manage risk and financial exposure

2. Marketing & Communication Management
- In collaboration with the Heads of School, develop, manage, execute and monitor School growth strategy; ensure that the business strategy plans are based on sound financial basis and analysis
- Monitor and be highly aware of market and competitive landscape and identify trends, risk and opportunities for the school through market intelligence and analytics
- In collaboration with the Heads of School, determine competitive benchmarking to set tuition fees, to improve School positioning and to create new Unique Selling Points
- Act as the representative of the school on all non-academic matters

3. Administration & Human Resources Management
- Manage, lead and motivate non-academic teams
- Attract, recruit, develop and retain talents
- Develop a strong team spirit with open communication and a positive working environment
- Ensure adherence to the school Administration & HR policies, processes, procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate and ensure alignment of the various functions in the school with that of the Group including IT Department as appropriate.
- Ensure regular communication, e.g., group meetings amongst the various functions in the schools and involving the Group where applicable
- Ensure that all employees at the school understand and uphold the expected service quality level
- In collaboration with the Heads of Departments, set a comprehensive training plan for all non-academic employees
- In collaboration with the Heads of Departments, ensure that performance objectives are set timely, and performance is monitored and managed regularly for all non-academic employees

Requirement

- 8-10 years' experience in managing a full P&L in private international school
- A Bachelor’s degree; MBA will be an advantage
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Experience in managing and leading various functions in an international school environment
- Experience in multiple sites facilities building and development.

- Experience in managing a diverse multi-cultural team
- Strong financial, business development and marketing skills
- Strong influencing, negotiation, persuasive and collaborative skills
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written
- Strong focus on sales and customer service level
