Responsibility
• Develop a sales strategy, analyze market trends, and identify advertising opportunities.
• Establish clear sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team and individual account executives.
• Develop pricing strategies and inventory management policies to maximize revenue.
• Lead a high-performing sales team, foster a positive culture, and implement training programs.
• Set clear performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching and feedback, and conduct regular reviews.
• Foster a collaborative, results-oriented, and positive team culture. Identify and implement training programs to meet their needs.
• Drive revenue growth, acquire new clients, and expand business.
• Oversee sales proposals and presentations, identify sponsorship opportunities.
• Build relationships, understand client needs, and provide exceptional client service.
• Collaborate with programming and traffic to optimize sales opportunities and develop pricing strategies.
• Track sales, market trends, and competitors. Prepare sales reports for senior management.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in broadcast advertising sales.
• Collaborate with departments to achieve business goals and provide sales feedback to programming and marketing.
Requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in sales, with a significant portion of that experience in the broadcasting (TV or Radio) or media industry.
• Proven track record in sales team leadership, exceeding revenue targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Established network of contacts within the advertising and media buying community.
