Responsibility

- Gather data on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments through various sources such as market research reports, surveys, and industry publications.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to extract meaningful insights from raw data.
- Monitor and analyze competitors' strategies, products, and market positioning.
- Assess strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT analysis) for both the organization and its competitors.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies.
- Evaluate the potential impact of industry developments on the organization's business.
- Identify and analyze different market segments to understand customer needs and preferences.
- Provide insights on potential target markets and opportunities for business growth.
- Gather information on customer behavior, preferences, and satisfaction.
- Contribute to the development of customer profiles and personas to guide marketing and product development strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide intelligence that informs strategic planning and decision-making processes.
- Assist in the development of long-term and short-term business strategies.
- Use market data and trends to create forecasts for product demand, sales, and other relevant metrics.
- Provide input for budgeting and resource allocation based on market projections.
- Compile and present market intelligence reports to key stakeholders.
- Clearly communicate findings, insights, and recommendations in a format that is easily understandable for non-experts.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and tools related to market intelligence and implement them to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Evaluate potential risks and threats to the business based on market and competitive intelligence.
- Provide recommendations for mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Establish and maintain relationships with industry experts, analysts, and other professionals to stay connected with the latest developments and insights in the field.
- Monitor and analyze changes in regulations and compliance requirements that may impact the business.
- Other tasks are assigned and directed by the CEO.

Requirement

- Degree preferably Economics, Business studies or related matters
- 5-8 years of professional experience in qualitative & quantitative analytics
- Proven experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or market research within the banking or financial services sector.
- Knowledge of statistical methods including hypothesis testing, and regression analysis
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using advanced statistical packages for analyzing datasets (SPSS, SAS etc.)
- Experience creating excel models and dashboards
- Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Working-level proficiency in English and Burmese
- Very creative, proactive, good team player and highly self-driven
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
