Responsibility

Risk

- Perform risk assessments and establish our company’s tolerance for risk
- Advice on risk related issues, provide specialized risk assessment knowledge and input and advise on fraudulent data.
- Design or create risk functions, framework and risk diagnostic/ risk control analysis
- Develop, implement and review the organization’s risk management framework, source, manage, and update our risk management system
- Prepare and track risk management budgets
- Draft new and updated existing internal risk policies so that they match industry standards
- Organize workshops and training sessions to educate and update employees on the organization’s risk policies and processes
- Prepare risk management reports for top-level management based on internal reviews and advise the executives on risk mitigation measures

Compliance

- Review current compliance policies and procedures to identify areas of improvement
- Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies
- Evaluating the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously
- Draft, modify and implement company policies
- Collaborate with corporate counsels and HR departments to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
- Implementation of adequate compliance programs and maintaining records of compliance practices
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate
- Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
- Establish relationships with important external bodies and stay up-to-date on the changes in industry requirements and all relevant regulations

Requirement

- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, Law, Finance, Accounting or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a governance, risk management or compliance function in regulated financial institution
- 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role
- In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal regulations relevant to our industry
- Field travels from time to time.
- Demonstrated experience as a leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly in both written and verbal forms.
- Additional qualification in compliance or audit, or relevant training undertaken with a regulator, will be an added advantage
- Computer literate MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint, Internet E-mail
- Ability works independent, team, under pressure highly self-motivated
- Excellent communication skills, including English and writing skill
